Not too much going on

Things here have been pretty boring lately. Yesterday I went to a meeting in Saugus, California near Magic Mountain. Then I went to Los Angeles for another meeting at DSA(Division of the State Architect. I got home about 6pm. The weather in the High Desert has been pretty strange. One day it nice(60 degrees) then the next day it's pooring down rain. Last night I went to my nephew's banquet and there were no clouds. Well the closer I got to the school the darking the sky started to get and then BLAM!!!!!!!! Rain. So, I wore a sweatshirt but nothing else and the wind went right through it. I felt like I had no clothes on because how cold I got. He got an award and a t-shirt for playing Basketball. I thought that it was cool, I didn't think he was going to get anything because him and the coach didn't get along too well. When we got home, I change into my pj's and jumped into bed at 8:30. I feel so much like an old bitty. LOL!! In bed before 9pm.
Oh, my mom has had the flu since 2/28/06. She attempted to go to work today and then left at noon. Because it's the flu the doctor can't prescribe her anything. She said that she has all this food that she had made and then when she takes a bite out of it, it tastes horrible or she can't taste it at all.
We went to Vegas on Sunday. Left at 9am and got there at 11:30am. Not bad for 187 miles. Then we left at 8pm and got home at 11:30am, that's with stopping in Barstow at the Del Taco off of Lynwood. Their tacos are like the old Nogales. Alot of meat and cheese with a tomato slice on top and little lettuce. YUM!! I got a few new purses from the Wilson Leather store...75% off. Then we went to a spice store and got some chicken and beef rub seasonings. We also got another knife block for some new knives that we got from the Cutlery Corner Network. That place has great knives!! Oh here's a few that I bought. Aren't they just great!!!
