Happy New Year with a Cold

Yesterday I called in sick. I slept until 12:30pm, got up, ate, and went back to sleep until 4pm. Made dinner, and stayed up until 9:30 and woke up this morning at 5:15am.
I'm at work right now. I feel better, but this runny nose is killing me. I thought today was Thursday. WOW.
Oh I also went to Starbucks this morning and because they made me a regular mocha and not a White chocolate mocha it was FREE. I also got to take the other one too. I'll end up drinking both but I like the white chocolate because it's sweeter. I just hope that the milk doesn't make my throat worse than it is.
We're having company on Sunday. We're making a ham and bbq chicken with greens and sweet potatoes. I'll be going to Trader Joes after work today to get the greens.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and PLEASE be safe. Don't be a jerk and get into any fights. And another thing...DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.
