WTF, can't we have a nice day??

Can't we just have a weekend where it's quiet? OMG!! Friday on the way down to have lunch with my sister I get a flat tire. Luckily I could get it patched. Then I find out my brother-in-law got hurt at a reunion. He's ok, but he was in the hospital for a few days. Then one of my nephews is in REAL trouble. I haven't had an update on that one, but I really don't think it's going to come out good. People are so stupid these days I can't believe it. I come into work and ask simple questions of how high to draw the windows at. Because this is a CMU building, it's either 2'-8" or 3'-7". I was told I don't know. WOW! And this is the person who I get my direction from.
On a good note, kind of, I get to go on a busniess dinner with my new husband. It's in Laguna at some Mexican resturant. Good part - love Mexican food, and it's nice to get out once in a while.(yes I know I just went to Maui...I need to go back). Bad part - It's WAY is Laguna. Too far from the High Desert. We'll meet up and then drive out together. I'll probably get home around midnight and then get back to work in the morning at 6:45am. Oh well, the things we must do in life.
