Ho hum.

My life has been "fun", NOT. I've been having difficulty in breathing and so I ended up going to the doctors. It seems as though I have an irregular heart beat. He refered me to a cardiologist which I go to on April 18th. He put me on another blood pressure medicine, so now I'm taking 2.
I signed up as an Associate AIA member. It's cool so far. I've only gone to one meeting that was held at Chaffey College. Next month's meeting is going to be held at a Mixed Use community in Corona. I also went to a C.A.S.H. (California's Coalition for Adequate School Housing)workshop. I gave it to the owner of my company to pay for because he said that he would pay for workshops/seminars that would benefit us in our job. Well he didn't pay for it and I felt that it would benefit me so I paid for it. I really can't afford it but I did anyways to help further myself in my career.
I've been really thinking about moving to the East Coast. A few weeks ago I found a house and a job that I could apply to. My husband has an interview next week with a company whose corporate office is in Penn. So perhaps we may move to Penn, I was looking at New York and New Jersey. But if Penn. is it, then cool. I'm just tired of California.
I started a quilt for my niece. I'm going over to my grandmothers this weekend to have her teach me how to finish it. I've completed sewing all of the squares together, now I just need to know how to bind them and do the quilting. She was really happy when I called to see if I can come by. She said that she sold her home and is waiting for escrow to close. So it won't be long now.
One of my sisters is moving into a larger home. It seems that she has outgrown the one she is currently in. I think it's for the best. She has one of our nephews living with her again as well as her oldest son moving back in with them. I think this is the best for everyone. It's only a few more years and the 2 oldest nephews of mine are out on their own. I wish them luck because right now it is not a nice time in our economy.
Well I know it's been a few months, and it'll probably be a few more, since I've started up my own drafting and design services. I have flyers and business cards made up and I'm making up a few model set plans for clients to choose from that will be ready to go. So hopefully that'll help with the increase of payments that we've endured. It's just been rough these last 6 months.
